Meet the Chef

Dinanyili (Dina) learned to cook traditional dishes from her madre (mother) and abuelita (grandmother) growing up in the Dominican Republic. Although some recipes have evolved over time, meals like "La Bandera" and "Sancocho" have stood the test of time.

For generations, la comida (the food) has brought families together throughout the Dominican Republic. For Dina and her husband, John, the tradition of bringing family and friends together around authentic, home-cooked, Dominican food has carried into today and into this venture. It is their hope that guests of Dina's experience both the food and the family in the same way.
